Thai Boat cuisine is great, almost as tasteful as its hometown dishes considering the fact that the ingredients are not quite same. The price is very reasonable compare to other Thai restaurant in town!! Highly recommemd trying the spicy and sour Thai soup!!

COMPARED TO OTHER THAI RESTAURANTS THE PRICE WAS AWESOME. FRIENDLY SERVICE GOOD FOOD WHAT ELSE COULD YOU ASK FOR. I LIKE THE WAY EVERYTHING ELSE IS DECORATED WITH ELEPHANTS AND BOATS. VERY NICE!!

The food tasted great, and the restaurant has a nice dining atmosphere. The price is a bit high for the amount of food served.

Although several people I know love the Thai Boat and recommend it enthusiastically, I was disappointed when I went there for dinner. I was surprised that the restaurant was not vegetarian-friendly, since many Thai and Chinese restaurants do offer a nice range of vegetarian dishes, including veggies-only and veggie-with-tofu options. The menu at the Thai Boat offers a clue the dishes are described by meat and spices, with almost no reference to vegetables that are included. I did not find a single vegetable-only dish on the menu, except for some salads. I asked the server about vegetarian options she indicated that they don't really cater to vegetarians, but that the chef could substitute tofu for meat. I ordered the dish that she said had the most vegetables. The tofu was not great, as it was deep-fried and had a chewy texture. The veggies were better--they were certainly fresh and flavourful. Unfortunately, the portion size was small. The price for an entree is similar to other restaurants. However, considering the very modest amount of veggies on the plate for that price, I know I can get much better value elsewhere. Diners who are interested in chicken, prawns, beef, or pork, and who have little interest in vegetables, would probably like the Thai Boat. If anyone in your party is a vegetarian or a vegan, I'd suggest you look for a restaurant that offers at least a few vegetarian dishes.
